Sanctuary Life
Hi, my name Hannah. I was lucky enough to spend my childhood growing up in the beautiful Wensleydale countryside, where nature was my playground.
I spent every possible moment outdoors. The rolling hills, woodlands, and open countryside became my classroom, where I learned to appreciate the beauty of nature. I was forever rescuing birds, looking after injured wildlife, and doing everything I could to help the animals around me. Those precious childhood adventures nurtured a lifelong love of wildlife and a passion for caring for wild animals. Even today, the values I learned from those early days—kindness, curiosity, and respect for nature—continue to shape who I am.
Since landing my dream job to be a part of a team of a veterinary practice this has now carved out the path of settling up my animal rescue.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is rehabilitating hedgehogs and birds releasing them back into the wild, giving them the best chance to thrive, find mates, and contribute to healthy, wild populations for generations to come.
